I can still do that on solidworks (without the motion as it is just a controlled animation), but wouldn't be as easy as having something that comes programmed to do this. So I want to be able to design it and then test out the transformation or motion of it to make sure that it actually works and nothing over laps midway. ![]() They're furniture that can be used in smaller homes were space is scarce. I once saw a table that when twisted expands into a bigger table. But free doesn’t always mean compromising on factors. I don't know about its motion option though.īasically what I'm gonna be designing are furniture that can be transformed into other items. Choosing the best and free furniture design software is the best option. I've used fusion before but i stuck with solidworks in my studies because i was already good at it. As in, it won't know if wood can go through wood unless you specified this was a point of contact. I know solidworks has the motion, but lacks the physics. ![]()
